We were very fortunate to have a session led by Liz, one of our parents this week. She explained the concept of therapy to the Beavers and asked them to draw a picture of a place they feel safe.
Cubs developed their scientific knowledge through a series of experiments which applied physics, chemistry and biology. They grew things from seeds, made a raisin dance, constructed a tower from spaghetti and grapes and created a circuit to conduct electricity.
One of our parents, Anja, introduced the Beavers to Germany through language, games and, of course, food. Beavers loved the hot dogs although they were somewhat ambivalent when it came to sauerkraut.
