Beavers Christmas Party

 Beavers celebrated the end of term with a snowball fight and some Christmas crafts Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone from 1st Ealing North Beavers.

To celebrate the end of term and the imminent arrive of Santa, Cubs let their hair down with a party: We began by hopping across a river: Followed by the Mitten Munch Relay: And every Christmas needs a snowball fight: A brief intermission to refuel on mince pies and squash and to doodle: Some festive Pictionary A goodbye to one Akela And hello to a new Akela: Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone from St. Peter's pack:

Bartering and Healthy Eating

Beavers ran lots of relay races to remember to eat their five a day, which worked towards their Health and Fitness badge.  They also continued building their Money Skills by learning about how goods were exchanged before money was invented through bartering. They practiced their bartering skills by collecting a full set of fruit. 

St Peter's Cubs Circus Skills Christmas Special

Cubs and leaders alike had a great time practicing new circus skills with Sam . From juggling to spinning diablos, tightrope walking to balancing peacock feathers, everyone had a fantastic time! This fun session was offered at no extra cost. It was funded jointly by the group and a workplace donation. Check your workplace policies and see if you can bring some cheer to our young people. Beavers Christmas Special: Circus Skills Workshop

Beavers were thrilled with  a special Christmas treat today - a circus skills workshop led by Sam, a professional entertainer. Sam introduced a variety of activities to challenge Beavers' skills of balance and agility and thoroughly entertained the colony.
