  Cubs were fortunate to have time with Vet Oil Buchanan join them for an online session with both packs on caring for animals. He shared great stories and anecdotes on his experiences. Cubs asked loads of curious and insightful questions and got the chance to share their own pets (assuming they were cooperating) on screen, too!

1EN braved the Central line to head from Ealing to Epping to undertake a 17km hike at the start of February.  Split into 3 hiking groups the Scouts explored around using their navigational skills. The weather  was kind which lead to a very enjoyable day. Everyone had a great time and was keen to do it again in the future. Highlights included mini egg motivation for the last few legs of the journey, seeing horses as well as  lots of dogs and of course singing some great songs whilst walking. which lead to a very enjoyable day.
