1st Ealing North News

The 1EN sections got together again for a one-night group camp at Walter Davies Scout Camp. It began with our usual flag breaking ceremony to open the camp, but this time it was slightly different... Our Walpole and Pitshanger Scout troops were presented with new flags and the old flag was formally retired after 45 years of service.  And then on to the business of having fun, starting with some games Lunchtime at Beaver base With more fun, starting with blind string trail    Bouldering Old fashioned schools sports day  Learning to light fires safely  With so many activities and a long day behind them, everyone was grateful for a delicious spag bol made by our excellent kitchen team As temperatures dropped, everyone gathered around the campfire for songs and toasted apples dipped in cinnamon and sugar Our home for the night  After breakfast it was onto a hike and games Well done all Beavers and helpers!
