1EN Scouts - Summer Term Camp
For the last weekend of June, 28 Scouts across Walpole and Pitshanger troops headed to Longridge outside Marlow for a water activities camp. We had a beautiful site right next to the Thames. The activity programme was packed with the Scouts splitting into groups for some wet and wild raft action and a chance to learn how to paddleboard. Once everyone was dry (!) attention turned to learning some vital scouting skills including building a fire, whittling and looking after kit on camp. The weather was kind to us all weekend which meant al fresco dining and an epic campfire by the river on Saturday evening.
