Cub, Scouts and parents alike had a lovely sunny Sunday morning at the Ealing Half Marathon. It began with some parents in high spirits While Cubs prepared snacks for runners As well as medals Quick chat with the race announcer Meanwhile, parents made their way around the course in our fetching 1EN t-shirts (you can have one, too, if you run for us next year!) Cubs and Scouts braced themselves for the torrent of runner finishing the race And then it was onto the job of handing out medals, water and snacks. As well as a hug and a medal for their parent-runner

Back from their summer break 1EN Cubs are now back and full of energy. They were presented with four problem solving challenges that needed a great deal of teamwork - Crossing an (imaginary) toxic river with benches - Decoding coded messages  - Creating a square from a rope whilst blindfolded  - Rebuilding a Lego model from memory
