Scouts Ahoy!

The Scouts went on a fantastic trip to Chatham Dockyard this term. The group of Scouts, Young Leaders and Leaders got to Chatham via public transport and on arrival explored the Dockyard.

They learnt about how ships were made and then set out to explore HMS Gannet and HMS Cavalier. We also had a fascinating time touring HMS Ocelot, a Royal Navy submarine.

A highlight of the trip was learning how to make rope in the Victorian Ropery. Many thanks to Leader Terry for his hard work in planning such an informative and fun trip.
