St Peter's Christmas Puppeteers

Cubs used the sock puppets and sketches they developed at last week's session to put on a Christmas show about people who help us for parents and family: There was a bit of time for rehearsal before parents arrived. The hall filled and the shows began There were many references to cats getting stuck, firemen and nurses helping out! Happy Christmas everyone and see you in 2024!

Beavers Sing For St David's

Image
Beavers completed their My World challenge badge this term with a visit to the local care home to sing Christmas songs.  In preparation for their visit, Beavers thought about what it is like living in a care home and made some Christmas cards to hand out. The residents of St David’s enjoyed listening to renditions of ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’ and ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’ before inviting the Beavers to have some refreshment.  A couple of the young people from 1EN have family members in residence, making it an extra special visit. Well done to all our Beavers who took part and thank you to St David’s for their warm welcome.

1EN Christmas Cream Tea 2023

Image
Over 80 people gathered for the 1st Ealing North 2023 Christmas cream tea fundraising event. Our normally functional Scout hall was transferred into a fabulous Christmas wonderland. Our army of bakers and helpers served up a feast of delicious sandwiches, cakes and scones. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to those who helped out to make this a magical community event.  The aim was to raise a little money to help keep the group and the building going, and the good news is that we raised over £1,000. Thank you all! Have a great Christmas.  Enough for a family of 4?  Cakes for everyone! Party at full swing
