Cubs Christmas Hike

Cubs gathered on a wet and windy Sunday in December to explore the more remote parts of the River Brent and Grand Union Canal.

The weather didn't faze the Cubs - they took to our winter walk by chatting and taking in the sights.

These included the flight of locks at Hanwell

Lunch and hot chocolate while sheltering from the rain in the bandstand at Churchfields Recreation Ground

Gazing at a very swollen River Brent

Cubs showed determination and perseverance and covered an impressive 6 miles.
