Potential Sixers and Seconders from both St Benedict's and St Peter's packs got together to sharpen their leadership skills during a day-long camp.
We warmed ourselves up with a run and some yoga:
Followed by building trust by being guided blindfolded around an obstacle course:
And collecting items while blindfolded and being guided by a team leader.
Cubs took time to reflect on what went well and where things could have gone better
We then started preparing for lunch
And then ate it
Followed by a game requiring skill, coordination and teamwork:
It was hungry work, so we had a break and learnt how to make a Penguin straw:
Cubs worked really hard and were presented with a special certificate from the Chief Scout!
In response to how the day was, one Cub responded:
"This day was so much better than spending the whole day on my iPad!"
