Last week, the Cubs went international, exploring what it is like to be a Cub Scout in three different countries as well as learning about their cultures. Akela kicked off the session by sharing stories from his recent trip to Hong Kong, where he had the pleasure of meeting Cub and Scout packs from the 75th Kowloon Scouts. He also brought along pictures, badges, and snacks to share from his travels. Next, we flew to Singapore with parent helpers Fairus and Sheriza, who taught the Cubs traditional Singaporean games from their childhood which were a big hit with all!. Fairus also shared his old Scouts uniform from his time as a Scout back home. We wrapped up our trip by learning all about Italy from Kaa in her Italian uniform from her time as a Scout back home on the Italian Lakes.
