Tonight's Scout meeting was all about getting ready for Community Day – and things are looking good.
We kicked off by practicing the fine art of putting up dining shelters – there was only minimal tangling!
Next came a fire alarm drill, just to make sure we all know how to leave a building faster than a Scout spotting cake at the end of a hike.
We then moved on to knife and axe skills, learning how to use them safely – with no fingers lost and plenty of focus.
To wrap up, we brushed up on the Countryside Code.
