Our first full day at Kandersteg - it was quite a packed schedule! We started off our first Swiss adventure by walking to the cable cars - our transport to the top of the mountain.
As we walked, we listened to Francis' fantastic facts - one of which is that Swiss cows are born deaf because they have cow bells on their necks.
We walked quite a while and enjoyed the beautiful Swiss scenery, one of which was a snow-capped mountain, only visible from the highest peaks.
After the hike we relaxed for a couple of hours until dinner and went to the campfire and met up with our fellow Greater London Middlesex West Scouts. After a lot of singing and dancing, it was time to snuggle up in bed after our first full day in Kandersteg.
