St Benedict’s Cubs were back at it this week after the summer break – and it was great to see everyone again!
We were also excited to welcome two new Cubs, Julia and Rohan, who settled in quickly and joined in the fun with a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors Conga!
The Cubs started the term by setting their own pack rules, thinking about how they want to treat each other and work together.
They also played a game of Two Truths and One Lie to get to know each other better – with some very funny and surprising stories shared!
On the skills side, Cubs learned how to safely use an iron before learning the different methods for rolling up their neckerchiefs, as well as how to prepare the flag for flag break – great preparation for the term ahead.
Thanks to all the leaders and helpers for a great start to the new term! See you all next week.
