This autumn, Scouts across Ealing are stepping up to keep our streets safe, clean and welcoming — and you can join the mission!
With leaves piling up and litter lurking, pavements can quickly become slippery and messy. That’s where our Leaf & Litter Legends come in. Armed with bags, gloves and brushes (yours or provided by the council), young people — with a parent or carer alongside — can make a real difference right on their own street or nearby park.
It’s simple:
1. Collect two bags of leaves or litter.

3. Earn your exclusive Ealing Leaf & Litter Legend badge! 🏅
You can collect bags and borrow equipment including shovels, brooms, boards and gloves from us.
The best part? There’s no limit — the more bags you collect, the more of a hero you become, helping your community and keeping Ealing looking its best.
Bags should be tied up and left in the vicinity of where they were collected. Please ensure they do not block or obstruct the pavement.
Logging your efforts also makes sure the council can whisk the bags away quickly.
