A select group of Cubs came together for a day long session on the roles and duties of Sixers and Seconders as well as learning how to be a good leader.
We went through ground rules for the day:
And got warmed up with some stretches and burpees:
The first activity was to show the role of trust in leadership:
Followed by a group activity
We had a debrief session to find out what Cubs thought about the activity:
We then started preparing for lunch with buttering bread
Preparing vegetables
And keeping fingers clear of blades!
Followed by washing up
And cleaning the hall
The afternoon started with a process improvement and team coordination activity
We ended with unique badges and celebratory crisps (!) for Cubs who were engaged in learning and having fun.
