Over the last two weeks the Cubs have been working towards their Cycling badge.
They learnt how to carry out the “M-Check” safety inspection to spot and fix common bike faults, as well as learning how to fix a puncture with a trusty puncture repair kit.

Out in Montpelier Park, they practised key riding skills including signalling, safe stopping, roundabouts and road positioning — all while learning the importance of helmets, visibility and awareness of others.
By the end, the Cubs had sharpened both their bike handling and maintenance skills building confidence for safer cycling.
