Polar explorer Wendy Searle talks to 1EN Scouts
Imagine setting yourself a really hard challenge in one of the most hostile environments on earth. That's exactly what Wendy Searle has done - she's hoping to be the fastest women in history to ski solo, unassisted and unsupported from the Antarctic coast to the South Pole. Her expedition is called She Who Dares.
Wendy, is a 45 year old mum with four children and wants to inspire people to go after ambitious goals which perhaps they had previously thought were unattainable.
Before setting off for Antarctica, Wendy spoke to 1EN Cubs Leader Neil and answered questions posed by Beavers, Scouts and Cubs. To see the full interview - click here
