1st Ealing North was honoured to welcome Dimitri Coutya MBE, Paralympic wheelchair fencing gold medallist, to formally open our building.
This follows the completion of major works which bring the building fully into the 21st century.
Changes include modern and fully accessible toilets, an extended and refitted kitchen, renovated main entrance hall and updated electrics including new, bright external and internal lighting.
There was a festival-like atmosphere in HQ with craft activities, a secondhand stall and refreshments on offer.
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts alike had the chance to chat with Dimitri to find out more about his journey and experiences...
